I love doing little portraits of wildlife and this painting was a lot of fun. After doing large paintings that require a lot of pre-planning it is refreshing to do a simple composition. I experimented a lot in textures and subtle color harmonies and I was very pleased with the result."Pintail Feeding", oil on linen panel, 9x12
